John King JOHN B. KING JR. has been appointed visiting professor at the University of Maryland College of Education. He is president and CEO of The Education Trust and previously served as the 10th U.S. Secretary of Education. King earned a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University, a J.D. from Yale Law School and a master’s degree and Ed.D. from Teachers College at Columbia University.
