Sharon Davies SHARON L. DAVIES has been appointed provost and vice president for academic affairs at Spelman College. She previously served as vice provost for diversity and inclusion and chief diversity officer at The Ohio State University. Davies earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law.
