UNCF Partners with Public Policy Organization to Recruit HBCU Students for Fellowship Program

The United Negro College Fund Special Programs Corporation is helping the Institute for International Public Policy Fellowship Program recruit more students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

Over the last 14 years the Institute for International Public Policy (IIPP) has placed more than 300 fellows in over 50 countries to study foreign affairs and global policy.

The IIPP Fellowship Program offers minority students the opportunity to receive the proper training needed to embark on a career in international affairs. The program includes summer policy seminars, study abroad courses, rigorous language education, internships, graduate study and student services, such as mentoring and career development.

“IIPP is shaping a diverse talent pool that will positively impact America at home and abroad,” says IIPP director Darryl E. Crompton. “We especially encourage students from HBCUs to apply for admission to the Fellowship Program because they have been underrepresented in our applicant pool.”

College sophomores may apply for the IIPP Fellowship Program online at www.UNCFSP.org/IIPP. Applications must be submitted no later than March 15 for the program year beginning in early June.
