KANSAS STATE UNIVERSITY’S office of diversity has received a $400,000 donation from the Fred C. and Mary R. Koch Foundation and Koch Industries to increase the enrollment of multicultural students and help them succeed in college. Specifically, the funds will serve to support scholarships for minorities and recruiting and mentoring.
WHEATON COLLEGE (Ill.) has received more than $400,000 from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation for the Summer Institute in Literary and Cultural Studies, which aims to increase diversity among college and university faculty members teaching English.
