Maurice GipsonMAURICE GIPSON has been appointed as the first cabinet-level chief diversity officer for Arkansas State University. Gipson served as an assistant vice chancellor for diversity for the past three years. He earned his juris doctor degree from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge and his bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University. He is currently working on a Ph.D. at the University of Memphis.
