The CITY COLLEGE OF NEW YORK has received a $10 MILLION gift from writer Michael “Mickey” Ross to establish a Jewish studies center at the college.

KALAMAZOO VALLEY COMMUNITY COLLEGE has received a $331,692 grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for its life-science center.

ST. GREGORY’S UNIVERSITY (Okla.) has received a $1.5 MILLION challenge grant from the J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation Inc. The grant has been provided conditionally and charges university officials to raise more funds to build new student resident halls for SGU.

The STEVENS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (N.J.) has been awarded a $3 MILLION grant from the National Science Foundation to provide fellowships to 10 doctoral students per year.

The UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA has received its largest gift ever, $65 MILLION, from Minnesota Masonic Charities. With this gift the University of Minnesota Cancer Center will fund its cancer research and care efforts.
