The UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA SCHOOL OF NURSING has received a $10 MILLION grant from the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute and the National Institute of Nursing Research to study better ways of managing sedation for children on lifesaving ventilators. The grant is the largest in the school’s history.
WINSTON-SALEM STATE UNIVERSITY (N.C.) has received a $291,000 grant from the University of North Carolina General Administration to collaborate with Mount Airy Schools and Winston-Salem area schools. The funds will be used to help teachers improve the literacy skills of low-skill students.
