NEW YORK UNIVERSITY has received a $490,000 National Science Foundation grant to promote women in the sciences. The funds will support the university’s campuswide initiative to promote the participation of women andminorities in the sciences.
The UNIVERSITY OF IOWA has received a $458,000 grant from the Department of Health and Human Services for medical research. With these funds researchers at UI will study vascular function and aging.
