DR. MICHAEL A. ELAM is president of Texas College. He previously served as president for student development at Daytona State College. Elam earned a bachelor’s and master’s from Howard University, and a doctorate from Nova Southeastern University.

DR. NADA MARIE ASSAF-ANID is dean of the School of Engineering and Computing Sciences at the New York Institute of Technology. She previously served as chair of the Chemical Engineering Department at Manhattan College. She earned a bachelor’s and master’s from the Royal Institute of Technology, and a doctorate from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

ANNEMARIE EADES is director of Network Operations for Information Technology at Morehouse School of Medicine (Ga.). Most recently, she served as the director of technology, infrastructure and operations for Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA). Eades earned a bachelor’s from East Stroudsburg University.

DR. MURIEL A. HOWARD has been appointed president of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities. She is president of Buffalo State College, State University of New York. Howard holds a bachelor’s from Richmond College, City University of New York, and a master’s and doctorate from the University at Buffalo, SUNY.
