Professional Appoitments

DR. DARLYNE BAILEY has been appointed dean and professor of the Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research at Bryn Mawr College (Pa.), effective Aug. 1. Bailey earned a bachelor’s from Lafayette College, a master’s from Columbia University and a doctorate from Case Western Reserve University.

MAMIE JACKSON is associate vice president for development in the division of institutional advancement at Spelman College (Ga.). She previously served as deputy director of development in the R.H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park. Jackson holds a bachelor’s from Sweet Briar College and a master’s from Indiana University.

DR. JOHN JACOBSON has been named dean of Teachers College at Ball State University (Ind.). He previously served as dean of the James I. Perkins College of Education at Stephen F. Austin State University. Jacobson earned a bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate at Brigham Young University.
