DR. GREGORY ANDERSON has been named dean of the Morgridge College of Education at the University of Denver, effective July 27. Anderson formerly served as an associate professor of education at Columbia University. He earned a bachelor’s and master’s from the University of Toronto and a doctorate from the City University of New York.

DR. JOYCE A. BLACKWELL has been named vice president for academic affairs at South Carolina State University, effective July 1. She earned a bachelor’s and master’s from North Carolina Central University and a doctorate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

DR. BONNIE BONDAVALLI is dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Lewis University (Ill.). She previously served as associate dean at the university. Bondavalli earned a bachelor’s from Illinois State University, a law degree from John Marshall Law School and a doctorate from the University of Missouri- Columbia.

DONA CORDERO has been appointed assistant provost for faculty development at Northwestern University (Ill.). Cordero also serves as director of change management at the university. She earned a bachelor’s at Wellesley College and a master’s at Loyola University of Chicago.

DR. WILLIAM COVINO has been named the new provost and vice president for academic affairs at California State University, Fresno. He previously served in this role at CSU, Stanislaus. Covino earned a bachelor’s from the University of California, Los Angeles, a master’s from CSU Northridge, and a master’s and doctorate from the University of Southern California.

DR. RICHARD “RICK” KOLBE has been named associate dean for faculty at Kent State University’s College of Business Administration (Ohio). Kolbe earned a bachelor’s from the University of Nebraska- Omaha, and a master’s, MBA and doctorate from the University of Cincinnati.

LORETTA LAMB is vice chancellor for human resources at the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system. She previously served as the chief human resources officer at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Lamb earned a bachelor’s and law degree from Gonzaga University.
