DR. ATHOS K. BREWER is dean of students at Northern Virginia Community College, Annandale Campus. He previously served as director for student support services at Montgomery College. Brewer earned a bachelor’s from Capital University, a master’s from the University of Dayton and a doctorate from American University.

DR. KAREN GOULD has been named president of Brooklyn College at the City University of New York. She previously served as the provost and senior vice president for academic affairs at California State University, Long Beach. Gould earned a bachelor’s from Occidental College and a doctorate from the University of Oregon.

DR. MARCIA HARDNEY has been named provost of Palm Beach Community College at Belle Glade (Fla.). Hardney formerly served as associate director of Jacksonville State University’s off-campus Gadsden Center. She earned a bachelor’s from Boston University and a doctorate from The University of Texas at Austin.

DR. EDWARD W. HILL is dean of Cleveland State University’s Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs (Ohio). He previously served as interim dean at the college. Hill earned a bachelor’s from the University of Pennsylvania, a master’s from the University of Chicago and a doctorate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

DR. HEATHER WILSON has been named vice president for student affairs at Carlow University (Pa.). She previously served as director of education and philanthropy for the Alpha Chi Omega fraternity. Wilson earned a bachelor’s from Bucknell University, a master’s from Boston University and a doctorate from Columbia University.
