College students beware of swine flu

We are jointly recruiting for Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) fellowship-trained faculty to join our staff of 16 PEM Board-certified attending physicians and 6 PEM fellows.

Assistant Professor of Professional Practice in Music Theory/Composition ((fulltime, one-year position).Teach Electro-Acoustic Music and other upper division music theory courses. Other duties as defined and assigned by the Director of the School of Music.

Lincoln Land Community College is accepting applications for an Assistant Vice President for Financial Aid. This position reports to the Vice President, Student Services and provides administrative leadership for the effective planning and functioning of the service offerings of the Financial Aid office and the development of policies and procedures pertinent to the area of financial aid.

St. Lawrence University seeks a broadly trained petrologist/structural geologist to teach courses that are essential to our program.

We seek outstanding candidates with an MS or PhD in Chemistry or closely related field. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience of classroom teaching in chemistry and involvement in instructional technology.

Individuals in this position will be part of a nine member staff of Residence Directors. Each staff member is expected to work both independently and collaboratively as part of the team.

The Director is responsible for the College’s academic support and advising program, and will guide staff in the planned move toward an Academic Support Center model.

The successful candidate should be able to teach World Civilization since 1500 and upper-division courses in European History and in colonial/post-colonial Africa, South Asia, or Southeast Asia. Candidates with experience in teaching from the lens of underrepresented communities are especially encouraged to apply.
