Three colleges with different missions will offer combined curricula this fall. The collaborative effort will allow students from each of the three schools a more diverse educational experience. According to the Boston.com, Wellesley College, an elite liberal arts school for women, has found common ground with Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, a tiny, 7-year-old school, and Babson College, a business school with an entrepreneurial bent. Under the new partnership, faculty will jointly develop programs designed to equip students to tackle world problems, such as energy supply and national security, from different academic perspectives, Wellesley President Kim Bottomly said.
