Kyle S. Malone is the new field service manager for the GED Testing Service, a part of the American Council on Education in Washington, D.C. Most recently, he was associate director of admission and coordinator of multicultural enrollment at Kalamazoo College. Malone earned a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Indianapolis; and a master's degree in administration from the University of Notre Dame.
Dr. Melvin C. Terrell, Northeastern Illinois University's Vice President for Student Affairs/Public Affairs, has been appointed president-elect of the National Association of Student Affairs Professionals (NASAP). He will assume duties in February 2000. Terrell has served as editor of the NASAP journal and will continue in that capacity during his terms as president-elect and president. He earned a bachelor's degree in history from Chicago State University; a master's degree in student personnel from Loyola University; and a doctorate in higher education administration from Southern Illinois University.
Dr. Adell Brown Jr, is the new vice president of research, planning, community and economic development at Mississippi Valley State University. His complete biographical statement ran in the April 29 edition of Black Issues, however, his photo was a accidentally omitted. We apologize for the oversight.
Correction:
The credentials listed in the April 15, edition for Thomas J. Elzey, Howard University's new executive vice president/chief operations officer were incorrect. Elzey has a bachelor's degree in economics from Bradley University; and a master's degree in public administration and policy from Carnegie Mellon University.
