The University of North Carolina at Greensboro has announced the creation of a scholarship program for immigrant and refugee students. Centura Bank gave the university $110,000 to pay for 16 scholarships during the next four years. The money also will pay for internships at community organizations, as well as the development of diversity-training materials for Centura employees.
