The University of Georgia College of Pharmacy has received $595,000 from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences of the National Institutes of Health to support graduate education of minority students.
Winston-Salem State University’s Maya Angelou Institute for the Improvement of Child and Family Education has received a three-year $462,384 grant from the National Cancer Institute to help reduce the incidence and mortality rate of cancer in minority populations.
