She has a 13-year professional playing career including overseas and the WNBA, most recently with the Sacramento Monarchs. Burgess earned a bachelor’s from the University of Alabama. |
| Monette Evans is the new vice president/director of admissions and enrollment management at Tuskegee University in Alabama. Previously, Evans was assistant director of admissions at Columbia University. She earned a bachelor’s from Columbia University and two master’s degrees from a joint Carnegie Mellon/Columbia University program. |
| DaNine J. Fleming has been named director of Minority Student Affairs and Cultural Diversity at Slippery Rock University (Pa.). Previously, she was coordinator of minority-student retention at the College of Charleston (S.C.). Fleming earned a bachelor’s from Claflin University, a master’s from the University of Charleston and an education specialist degree from South Carolina State University. |
