Dr. Stanley F. Battle has been selected president of Coppin State College in Maryland. Most recently, Battle was vice chancellor for student and multicultural affairs at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He earned a bachelor's from Springfield College, a master's from the University of Connecticut, and a second master's and doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh.

Dr. Jacqueline Brice-Finch is the new associate dean of the School of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences at Benedict College in Columbia, S.C. Previously, she was a professor of Africana literature at James Madison University. She earned a bachelor's from Howard University, a master's from Indiana University and a doctorate from the University of Maryland.
Dr. Oscar Darryl Butler has been named director of auxiliary services for New Jersey City University. Most recently, Butler was the deputy to the senior vice president/chief operating officer for the City College of New York. He earned a bachelor's degree from East Tennessee State University, and master's and doctoral degrees from Seton Hall University.
Tchet Dorman has been named director of multicultural affairs at Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pa. He comes to the college from the Pennsylvania Institute of Technology, where he was the coordinator of student support services. Dorman earned a bachelor's degree from Oberlin College in Ohio and a master's from Temple University in Philadelphia.
Dr. Darnita Killian has been appointed vice president of student services at Pace University in New York. Previously, she served as executive director of A Better Chance, a nonprofit organization. She holds a bachelor's from Spelman College, a master's from Clark Atlanta University and a doctorate from the University of San Francisco.
Dr. Arthur L. Walker Jr. is the new president of Motlow State Community College in Tennessee. Walker has been the vice president for academic affairs at Motlow since February 2000. Walker earned an associates from Okaloosa-Walton Community College, a bachelor's from Athens State, a master's from Troy State and a doctorate from the University of Memphis.
