Previously, Hamer served as director of multicultural student services at Bradley University. Hamer earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Mississippi State University and a doctorate from the University of Arkansas. |
| Dr. S. Keith Hargrove has been appointed as the new chairman of the industrial, manufacturing and information engineering department at Morgan State University in Baltimore.
