• Presidential Recognition: Carnegie Mellon University — Technology Enhanced Learning in International Education, for innovative use of technology to increase global awareness, with a special focus on students who are otherwise unable to experience study abroad.
The Heiskell awards are named in honor of noted publisher and philanthropist Andrew Heiskell, the former Chairman and CEO of Time Inc., and a longtime advocate for international education. Heiskell is Chairman Emeritus of the New York Public Library and a dedicated member of IIE's Board of Trustees.
