A The American Indian College Fund received a $60,000 grant from the UPS Foundation, the charitable arm of the United Parcel Service. The grant will be used for scholarships for American Indian students attending tribal colleges across the United States.

Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals of Cleveland received a $25 million gift from Iris S. and Bert L. Wolstein to name the new research building jointly owned and operated by the two institutions. The facility will be named the Iris S. and Bert L. Wolstein Research Building.

California State University-Northridge‘s Oviatt Library received a $21,500 grant from the John Randolph Haynes and Dora Haynes Foundation to preserve and make accessible a portion of the historical records from the United Way of Los Angeles Collection.

Colorado State University received $20.1 million from the Fort Collins-based Bohemian Foundation, which will help build an academic performing arts center and expand and renovate the football stadium. This is the largest gift in the school’s history.

Southern University (La.) received $150,000 gift from CN, one of the leading North American freight transportation companies to fund a project for transportation studies at the historically Black university.

Tuskegee University and the University of Alabama received a $7.4 million grant from the National Institutes of Health’s National Center for Minority Health and Health Disparities to boost their efforts to deliver health care to Alabama’s black belt residents. The money will be used to expand some existing programs and create new joint programs between the two schools.
