Previously, he was the vice president for multicultural education and an associate professor of psychology at Goshen College in Indiana. Abebe earned a bachelor's from Goshen College, a master's from Northern Illinois University and a doctorate from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale.Arlene Cash has been named vice president for enrollment management at Spelman College in Atlanta. Most recently, she served as associate vice chancellor of enrollment management at the University of Arkansas. Cash earned bachelor's degrees in English and philosophy from Keuka College and a master's in philosophy from Kent State University.Dr. Tuesday L. Cooper has been named associate dean of the school of education/professional studies and graduate division at Eastern Connecticut State University in Willimantic, Conn. She earned a bachelor's from Rutgers University, a law degree from Western New England College School of Law and a doctorate from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.Jo Ann R. Fielder has been appointed director of equity and diversity at California State University-Northridge. Fielder is a retired U.S. Army officer with 13 years of experience as a community college administrator. She earned a bachelor's degree from Southern University in Louisiana and a master's from South Carolina State University. Dr. Denise B. Maybank has been appointed associate to the president at the University of Nebraska Central Administration. Previously, she was director of multicultural affairs at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Maybank earned a bachelor's from CUNY-Brooklyn College, a master's from Columbia University's Teachers College and a doctorate from Michigan State University. Dr. J. Keith Motley has been appointed vice chancellor for student affairs at the University of Massachusetts-Boston. Previously, he spent more than two decades as an administrator at Northeastern University in Boston. Motley earned bachelor's and master's degrees in education from Northeastern University and a doctorate in education from Boston College.
