Peter J. Aranda III is the new executive director for the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management. Aranda has served the private sector and higher education as an executive and an educator. He earned a bachelor's from the University of Southern California, a master's in information management and a master's of business administration from Washington University.

Dr. Constance Carroll has been appointed chancellor of the San Diego Community College District. Carroll has been president of Mesa College since 1993 and has an extensive history of national, state and community service. She earned a bachelor's degree from Duquesne University and both a master's degree and a doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh.

Jackie Jenkins-Scott has been named the next president of Wheelock College in Massachusetts. Previously she was president and chief executive officer of the Dimock Community Health Center. She earned a bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University, a master's of social work from Boston University and did postgraduate research at Radcliffe College.

Dr. Rubye Taylor-Drake has been elected president of the National Alumni Council of the United Negro College Fund. Taylor-Drake served previously as vice president for public relations on the National Alumni Council board of directors. She earned a bachelor's degree from Tuskegee University, a master's from Northeastern Illinois University and a doctorate from Nova University.

Dr. Pamela Trotman Reid is the new provost and executive vice president in charge of academic affairs at Roosevelt University. Reid currently has a joint teaching and research appointment in the School of Education and the College of Literature, Science and Arts at the University of Michigan. She earned a bachelor's from Howard University, a master's from Temple University and a doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania.

Jocelyn Wilcher has joined Auburn University in Alabama as the student adviser for the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs. Wilcher formerly was academic adviser in the College of Architecture, Design and Construction. She earned a bachelor's degree, a master's and specialist degrees in adult education, all from Auburn University.
