Black earned a bachelor's and a master's degree at Cambridge College, and a doctorate from Pepperdine University. |
| Dr. Wanda Colston has been named executive vice president at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Previously, she was associate vice president for academic affairs at Norfolk State University. Colston earned a bachelor's from Shaw University, a master's from the University of the District of Columbia and a doctorate from Howard University. |
| Dr. Maureen N. Eke has been named associate vice president for diversity at Central Michigan University. Most recently, she served as a professor in the English department. Eke earned a bachelor's degree from Ahmadu Bello University in Nigeria, and master's and doctoral degrees in comparative literature from Indiana University. |
| Gregory L. Jackson has been named artistic director of cultural affairs at Miami-Dade Community College. Previously, he served as education director and performing arts coordinator for cultural affairs. Jackson maintains a professional career as a soloist and teacher. He earned a bachelor's degree from Adelphi University and a master's from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. |
