Taneisha Brown has been named associate vice president for student affairs at Shaw University n orth Carolina. Previously she worked with the City of Richmond as a compliance specialist/administrator. Brown earned a bachelor's from Virginia State University and a master's and juris doctor from Syracuse University.

Clementine S. Cone has been named vice president for administration and finance at Virginia State University. Previously Cone was executive assistant to the president at VSU. She earned a bachelor's from Hampton University and a master's from Regent University.

LaMisa McCoy has been named director of stewardship at North Carolina Central University. Formerly she was assistant director of donor relations and stewardship at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. She earned a bachelor's from North Carolina Central and a certificate in nonprofit management from Duke.

Dr. Terry L. Mills has been named associate dean for minority affairs in the college of liberal arts and sciences at the University of Florida. Mills earned his bachelor's degrees from Long Island University and California State University, and master's and doctoral degrees from the University of Southern California.

Loretta Parham has been named director/CEO of the Robert W. Woodruff Library at Clark Atlanta University-Interdenominational Theological Center effective Nov. 1. Parham earned a bachelor's from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and a master's from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. 

Cindy Long Porter has been named director of residential life at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut. Previously she was director of residence and campus life at the State University of New York's Purchase College. Long Porter earned a bachelor's from Morgan State University in Baltimore and a master's from Illinois State University in Normal.
