Ronda Bryant has been named director of enrollment support at Western Carolina University. Previously she was a doctoral intern at the University of Virginia. She earned a bachelor's in sociology and a master's in counselor education both from Wake Forest University.

Dr. Kermit Carter has been named dean for student affairs at Calhoun Community College in Decatur, Ala. He previously served as the college's assistant dean for student affairs. Carter earned a bachelor's from Oakwood College in Huntsville, Ala., a master's from Alabama A&M University and a doctorate from the University of Alabama.

Dr. Benjamin Newhouse has been appointed dean of the School of Business at North Carolina Central University. Previously, he was dean of the College of Business at Tuskegee University and professor of management. Newhouse earned a bachelor's from Wayne State University, and a master's and a doctorate from the University of Michigan.

Dr. James A. Pritchett has been named director of the African Studies Center at Boston University. Pritchett is also associate provost for Intra-University Programs and associate professor of anthropology. He earned a bachelor's from Ohio State University, and a master's and doctorate from Harvard University.

Terri Harris Reed has been named associate provost for institutional equity at Princeton University. Previously she was assistant dean for graduate education in the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. Reed earned a bachelor's from Calvin College and a master's from Harvard University.

Dr. Lois C. Richardson has been appointed dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at Thomas Edison State College in New Jersey. Previously she was assistant vice president for academic affairs at Kean University. Richardson earned a bachelor's from Fisk University, a master's from Teachers College, Columbia University and a doctorate from Seton Hall University in New Jersey.
