Dr. Glenn Bowen has been named director of service learning at Western Carolina University. Previously, he was the leadership facilitator for the Center for Leadership Development and Civic Responsibility at Florida International University (FIU). He earned his bachelor's and master's from St. Thomas University and his doctorate from FIU.

Dr. Maurice Daniels has been named the new associate dean of the School of Social Work at the University of Georgia. Prior to joining the UGA faculty in 1979, he served as a school social worker in the Indianapolis public schools and as coordinator of social services at the Indianapolis Sickle Cell Center. He earned a bachelor's, master's and doctorate all from Indiana University.

Trudy Cobb Dennard has been named the new associate dean of the College of Fine Arts and Communication at Towson University in Maryland. Previously, she served as associate dean for academic affairs at SUNY Binghamton and chair of dance at Western Michigan University. Dennard earned a bachelor's from Eastern Michigan University and a master's from the University of Michigan.

Dr. Willie E. Hopkins has been named dean of the School of Business and Technology at the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore. He previously served as associate dean for research and administration at Colorado State University. Hopkins earned his bachelor's and master's from San Diego State University and a doctorate from the University of Colorado.

Jonathan Jefferson has been named dean of the School of Business Administration at Clark Atlanta University. In his previous position, Jefferson was a vice president at A.T. Kearney Inc. He earned a bachelor's from Morehouse College and a master's from Cornell University.

Dr. Hellena TerrellĀ  has been named vice president of student affairs at Saint Augustine's College in Raleigh, N.C. She was formerly the director of equity and diversity initiatives at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Terrell earned a bachelor's from Spelman College, a master's from Jacksonville State University and a doctorate from the University of Alabama.
