Professional Appointments

Dr. Agatha Awuah has been named director of institutional research and planning at Onondaga Community College. Previously she served as a research analyst at SUNY Binghamton. Awuah holds a bachelor’s from the University of Ghana, a master’s from the Queens University in Canada, and a second master’s and doctorate from Michigan State University.

Dr. John M. Berry has been appointed vice president for institutional advancement and executive director of the Foundation at Lincoln University in Missouri. Most recently he served as director of development at Winston-Salem State University. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s from Southern University in New Orleans and his doctorate from the Union Institute and University of Cincinnati.

Dr. Thomas G. Coley was recently appointed president of Scott Community College in Bettendorf, Iowa. Coley is currently vice president for instruction and student services at Black Hawk College in Moline, Ill. He earned a bachelor’s from Moorhead State University and a master’s and doctorate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Dr. Eric Conway is the new director of the Morgan State University Choir and chair of the department of fine arts. He has served as an associate conductor and principal accompanist for the Morgan State choir for the past 20 years and was serving as interim
director. Conway earned his bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate from Johns Hopkins University’s Peabody Conservatory.

Dr. Edward W. (Ned) Hill has been named to the newly created position of vice president for economic development at Cleveland State University. He earned a bachelor’s from the University of Pennsylvania, and a master’s and a doctorate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
