Robin A. Smith has been appointed director of community affairs and government relations at Thomas Edison State College. Prior to joining the college, Smith was community relations coordinator with Capital Health System in Trenton. She earned a bachelor’s from Rutgers University.

Dr. Li-An Yeh has been appointed director of the Biomanufacturing Research Institute and Technology Enterprise at North Carolina Central University. Most recently she served as research advisor in lead generation biology for Eli Lilly & Co. Yeh earned a bachelor’s from National Taiwan University in Taipei, a master’s from Kent State University and a doctorate from Purdue University.
