Dr. Victor Borden has been named associate vice president for university planning, institutional research and accountability at Indiana University. Borden earned a bachelor’s from the University of Rochester, and a master’s and doctorate from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
Dr. Donna L. Parker has been appointed associate dean for student affairs at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Previously she was associate dean for student and faculty development. Parker earned a bachelor’s from McGill University and a medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
Dr. Franklin B. Carver has been appointed assistant provost and associate vice chancellor for academic affairs at North Carolina Central University. He served in this capacity on an interim basis for more than a year. Carver received his bachelor’s from Fayetteville State University, a master’s from East Tennessee State University and a doctorate from Ohio University.
Joseph B. Porter has been named vice president for legal and governmental affairs and general counsel at Excelsior College. Porter earned a bachelor’s from Manhattan College and a law degree from Albany Law School of Union University.
Cheryl Y. Hitchcock is the new vice president of institutional advancement at Morgan State University. Previously Hitchcock served as the university’s director of development. She holds a bachelor’s from Morgan State University.
Dr. Kevin D. Rome Sr. is the new vice president for student services at Morehouse College. In his previous position, Rome served as vice president for campus life at Clayton State University. Rome earned a bachelor’s from Morehouse College, a master’s from the University of Georgia and a doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin.
