Dr. Rodney Smith has been named vice president for administrative services at Hampton University. He will assume his new responsibilities while retaining his duties as vice president for student affairs. Smith earned a bachelor's degree psychology from St. John's University, a master's degree clinical psychology from Fisk University and a doctoral degree adminstration planning and social policy from Harvard University.

Marc K. Malone has been named president of the Mid-America Association of Educational Opportunity Program Personnel. The association assists low-income and first generation students in overcoming economic, physical, academic or social barriers to higher education accessibility. Malone earned a bachelor's from Morehouse College and a master's in educational administration from Purdue University.

Dr. Charles Williams has been elected president of the National Association of College, Deans, Registrars and Admissions Officers. He is currently associate vice chancellor for academic affairs at North Carolina A&T State University. Williams earned a bachelor's and a master's in history education and counselor education, respectively, from North Carolina A&T State University and a doctorate in counselor education from Iowa State University.
