Sen. Barack Obama Urges Students to Reverse ‘Empathy Deficit’

An hour before he addressed the 2nd Annual Campus Progress National Student Conference on Wednesday, U.S. Senator Barack Obama, D-Ill., addressed the 2006 Diversity Best Practices Conference on Capitol Hill. "Diversity doesn't mean that you aren't supposed to be good at your business. Our standards have to be as high or higher," he said. DBP and the Business Women's Network released the seventh edition of WOW! Facts, which has more than 18,000 demographic facts on women, minorities, older Americans, the disabled and others.
