Dr. Eddie Glaude Jr.

Eddie Glaude Press Photo 2013Eddie S. Glaude Jr. is professor of religion and chair of the Center for African-American Studies at Princeton University. Regarded as one of the most important Black intellectuals in the U.S., Glaude is the author of several books, including In a Shade of Blue: Pragmatism and the Politics of Black America. Glaude developed the online course Covenant Curriculum: A Study of Black Democratic Action with fellow Princeton professor Cornel West. In 2009, Princeton awarded Glaude its President’s Award for Distinguished Teaching.
