Dr. Said Sewell III

Sewell SaidDr. Said L. Sewell is an assistant provost at Kent State University , where he was dean of under graduate studies. Sewell is working on two books: “Empowering Black Male Students to Greatness” and “Let Us Make Man: A Conversation with Black Men on Saving Black Boys.” He has received numerous awards for his scholarly work. For nine years, Sewell was an associate professor of political science and the interim chair of the Department of Political Science and Planning at the University of West Georgia.
