Dr. Ivory A. Toldson

ToldsonDr. Ivory A. Toldson is an associate professor at Howard University and senior research analyst for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation. In September, President Barack Obama named Toldson deputy director of the White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Known as a “myth buster,” Toldson has challenged popular research reports and news sources that present negative statistics about Black people. He has held visiting research and teaching appointments at Emory, Drexel and Morehouse School of Medicine.
