Dr. Kim Bottomly has been named the 13th president of Wellesley College (Mass.). She had most recently served as deputy provost at Yale University. Bottomly earned her bachelor’s and doctorate from the University of Washington.


Dr. Kim Bobby has been appointed chief diversity officer at the University of Puget Sound (Wash.). She had served as director of access programs at the university. Bobby holds a bachelor’s from California State University-Fresno, a master’s from CSU-Sacramento and a doctorate from the University of Washington.


Nim Chinniah has been appointed vice president for administration and CFO of the University of Chicago. He was most recently deputy vice chancellor for administration and academic affairs at Vanderbilt University. Chinniah earned a bachelor’s from Lambuth University and a master’s from Vanderbilt.


John Glover has been named associate dean of American Indian law programs at the University of South Dakota School of Law. Most recently, he was chair of the American Indian studies department at Black Hills State University. Glover earned a bachelor’s from Concordia College and a law degree from Willamette University.


H. Nyree Gray has been named director of diversity affairs at Southwestern Law School (Calif.). She has been a faculty member at the university since 2006. Gray earned a bachelor’s from the University of California, Berkeley and a law degree from Southwestern.


Dr. Ronald A. Johnson has been appointed dean of the College of Business at Western Carolina University (N.C.).  He had most recently been the JP Morgan Chase Chair in Finance at Texas Southern University. Johnson earned a bachelor’s and master’s from Adelphi University and a master’s and doctorate from Stanford University.
