EILEEN O’CONNOR has been appointed vice president for communication at Yale University. She was deputy assistant secretary of state for South and Central Asia. O’Connor holds a bachelor’s and a juris doctor from Georgetown University, and a postgraduate diploma from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
