This scholar reports that when she went to court, the dean said one thing at the deposition and something completely different at the trial. When she sued for documents under the Freedom of Information Act, she found that one of the male professors had recently been tenured with no publications.
Ultimately she still lost her case - even though she claims that the department members admitted that they had been biased against her.
