Market's tuition program nourishes workers' minds

by Associated Press , September 17, 2007

Eventually, White said, Redner's intends to partner with schools in each of its markets to expand both programs.

"Before we roll it out everywhere, we want to test it," he said. "We'll start small, but you'll see some growth."

Four employees have applied for the community college tuition reimbursement so far, said Judy Graham, director of business development for the college's center for work force development.

"The college is very excited about the program," said Graham.

It would also apply to courses taken at the Newtown Township college's satellite locations in Bristol Township and Perkasie. Students must maintain a "C" average and be in good standing with Redner's to qualify for the reimbursement.
