Saint Louis University Says 250 Jobs to be Cut

ST. LOUIS — Saint Louis University says it’s cutting 120 current positions and an additional 130 that aren’t currently filled.

The university’s president, Fred Pestello, says in a letter to students and staff that employees will find out Tuesday where the cuts will happen.

KSDK-TV reports that drop-offs in revenue and enrollment have left the university with a budget deficit of $10 million to $20 million.
