Catherine Morris is a staff writer at Diverse: Issues in Higher Education. She has worked as the assistant editor of Rowing Magazine and as a research assistant at the W.E.B. Du Bois Institute at Harvard University. A New England native, Catherine has lived in New Hampshire and Massachusetts with a few extended sojourns to Italy, living in Venice, Mantua and Viterbo. She received her bachelor of arts from Harvard University with a degree in History and Literature, focusing on the Italian Renaissance. Her hobbies include traveling, cycling, rowing, and spending time outdoors.
