JEFF ELWELL has been named president of Eastern New Mexico University. He previously served as dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. Elwell earned a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Bakersfield, a master’s degree from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and a Ph.D. from Southern Illinois University.
