Officials at Indiana University of Pennsylvania say someone fired gunshots into the air on the school’s campus early Monday but no one was hurt.
University spokeswoman Michelle Fryling says the suspects are not students.
Campus police say one of the two suspects fired the gun while his friend was just “along for the ride.”
Police say both will be charged with misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment. They have been released and summonses will be mailed to them.
The state-owned school is in western Pennsylvania about 45 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.
