College Will Offer Business Training in Spanish

WENATCHEE, Wash.

Two entrepreneurial classes taught in Spanish will be offered in late fall through Wenatchee Valley College’s Continuing Education and Workforce Development departments, the college announced.  The classes will be taught at the Wenatchee Community Center and at the Main Street Learning Center in Brewster.

The course curriculums are the Small Business Administration’s NxLevel Series for Entrepreneurs, which are widely recognized in business and financial circles for providing business owners with skills and information to succeed, college officials said. . Topics for the course include management and operation practices, product pricing, financial statements, and marketing. NxLevel certificates will be awarded upon completion.

The courses will also have support and scholarship sponsors from the community, including North Central Washington Business Loan Fund, NCW Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Cashmere Valley Bank. Scholarships include payments for required textbooks and partial tuition.
