U-Detroit Mercy gets $552,000 for fed IT research

The University of Detroit Mercy says it’s received a $552,000 contract to perform cyber security research on behalf of the U.S. government. According to The Detroit News, the university says the project seeks to develop and disseminate knowledge to ensure the safety and security of U.S. business software.
