Deborah G SmithDEBORAH GORMAN-SMITH has been appointed dean of the School of Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago. She currently serves as the Emily Klein Gidwitz Professor in the school. Gorman-Smith received both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Northern Illinois University and a master’s and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
