Elijah AndersonELIJAH ANDERSON has been named Sterling Professor of Sociology and of African-American Studies at Yale University. Prior to his new role, he was the William K. Lanman, Jr. Professorship in Sociology at the university. Anderson earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, a master’s degree from the University of Chicago and a Ph.D. from Northwestern University.
