NABILA EL-BASSEL has been named University Professor at Columbia University. Most recently, she served as the Willma and Albert Musher professor of social work at Columbia. El-Bassel received a bachelor’s degree from Tel Aviv University in Israel, a master’s degree in social work from the Hebrew University School of Social Work in Israel and a Ph.D. from the Columbia University School of Social Work.
