Phillip PointerPHILLIP L. POINTER has been appointed associate professor of philosophy and religion and chair of the Department of Philosophy and Religion at Philander Smith College. He serves as senior pastor of the Saint Mark Baptist Church in Little Rock, Ark. Pointer holds a master’s in divinity degree from Virginia Union University and a doctorate in ministry from United Theological Seminary.
